A Common-Sense Vision for North Plains
Supporting Local Businesses. Protecting Our Community. Planning for the Future.
North Plains doesn't need data centers or semiconductor factories to build a strong economic future. We need practical, community-focused investments that support local businesses, create opportunities, and preserve our small-town character.
I believe economic development should benefit residents first, not place unnecessary demands on our infrastructure, natural resources, or taxpayers.
My priorities include:
Strengthen local businesses by supporting existing shops, restaurants, and services while welcoming new small businesses.
Keep more dollars local by expanding access to everyday goods, services, and employment opportunities.
Attract visitors by building on our natural beauty, rural character, and location along the route to the Oregon Coast.
Invest responsibly in infrastructure and essential services while protecting taxpayers.
Encourage thoughtful growth that respects our farmland, natural spaces, and community identity.
Restore trust in government through transparency, sound financial management, and meaningful public involvement.
Putting Our Community First
North Plains doesn't need to become another Hillsboro or Portland to succeed. We can build a thriving local economy through thoughtful, incremental growth that reflects our community's needs and values.
My vision is simple: A financially responsible, economically vibrant North Plains that grows with its residents, not at their expense.
